Empowering Dreams: The Journey of Voice of Slum
Voice of Slum emerged from the vision and determination of Chandni and Dev Pratap Singh, two individuals who grew up in the very slums they now seek to uplift. Founded as a Non-Governmental Organization, Voice of Slum is dedicated to integrating slum children into mainstream society.
In Noida, we established a school tailored to the needs of slum children, offering not only education but also guidance on rights, values, and the pursuit of dreams.
Our forward-thinking initiatives include plans to introduce vocational courses, equipping slum teenagers with practical skills for financial independence.
Central to our mission is ‘Slum Post,’ a magazine where slum children serve as both reporters and editors, shedding light on the challenges they face and advocating for solutions.
From humble beginnings to impactful endeavors, Voice of Slum continues to redefine possibilities for the marginalized communities we serve.
